Offord Road is a stunning redevelopment of just twenty-four apartments, penthouses and live/work units on the site of Cole & Sons famous former wallpaper factory. The building is arranged around a generous landscaped courtyard and the interiors express a subtle balance of modern design whilst incorporating the time honoured iconic patterns of chosen wall paper designs.

During the redevelopment Richco were asked to provide our recommendations on a number of flooring areas including all balconies, entrance lobbies, car park areas and external metal staircases.

The balcony areas and landing platforms to each apartment were completed with Richco Anti-Slip UVR which is a UV stable polyurethane coating. This was completed in a burgundy colour which was specified by the client. We therefore manufactured this particular colour specifically for this application.

The entrance lobbies were completed with Richco SL E-Coat in grey. Richco SL E-Coat is a self levelling flooring system which provides a smooth, seamless, hardwearing surface. The finished floor area met with the clients requirements by providing a modern look to the lobby area.

The external staircases were fitted with Richco Fibreglass Nosings to provide a contrasting colour to ensure that the staircase complied with DDA regulations in particular those items relating to the partially sighted.

The original car-park had an existing concrete substrate. Throughout the car park area we applied Richco WB E-Coat which is a water-based epoxy coating. Once complete all line markings were installed using Richco E-Coat in yellow. The completed project met with the clients requirements in all areas by providing the modern look the client required.
