Tropical Wings
Tropical Wings Zoo at South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, is a fabulous wildlife park set in acres of attractive grounds and features one of the largest butterfly houses in the country. There are many different species of birds, insects and animals where visitors are encouraged to interact whenever possible. Tropical Wings also has a large variety of daily activities and attractions at the zoo for entertainment for all the family.
Tropical Wings had a number of areas where the floor had previous coatings applied which had subsequently failed and had cracking throughout. Richco recommended that the failed coating was completely removed and the original concrete surface was repaired using Richco Repair Mortar.
Once all preparation was complete and the surface was primed, Richco Flake Flooring was applied. Richco Flake Flooring is a hard wearing, solvent free epoxy flooring which incorporates a PVA flake to provide a decorative anti-slip finish.
The finished flooring met with the clients requirements by providing a decorative, light anti-slip surface (which remains easy to clean) in their canteen, walkways and conference areas.
