Updown Court is larger in area than both the royal residences of Hampton Court Palace or Buckingham Palace, this magnificent estate symbolises the grand and imposing presence of the Great Houses of England, yet employs state-ofthe- art 21st Century technology to provide the ultimate living environment. The ramp from the driveway to the garages had an existing concrete substrate. The client requested that a decorative anti-slip surface was required in this area.

Richco recommended the application of our Surface Dressing System which is a bonded stone system which is designed to give the appearance of loose aggregates without the associated maintenance problems.

The driveway area was fully prepared using our specialist floor preparation equipment. Once fully prepared Richco Deck-a-Grip was applied to the surface by brush and roller and the desired aggregate (chosen by the client) was cast upon the wet resin. Once cured all loose aggregates were swept clean.

The finished area met with the clients’ requirements by providing an attractive hardwearing, anti-slip, low maintenance surface.
