Installation Guide
Curing Time
This product will normally cure in 2 - 4 hours hours at 15°C to accept light foot traffic. Full wear resistance is achieved over 5 days (at a minimum constant temp of 15°C). Water should not be allowed to lie on the surface for at least 5 days.
Surface Preparation
The substrate should be clean, sound, and free of friable material, preferably dry, but certainly to the extent that moisture does not glisten on the surface, and the substrate temperature should be between 5°C and 25°C. Not to be applied if there is salt contamination or frost.
Mixing
Ensure Richco Asphalt Paint is thoroughly mixed with a wide bladed tool until an even colour is obtained and the fine aggregate is dispersed evenly into the paint.
Application
Apply an even coat using a meduim pile roller while avoiding applying to thick. One coat is all that is normally required, although a second coat may be needed on very porous or rough surfaces. The second coat should be applied after 1 hour.
