Tapered Back Edge
To ensure a flush fit with the existing substrate and to eliminate the possibility of a trip hazard, the product has been designed with a tapered back edge.
Anti Slip
Glow-in-the-Dark Nosing profiles have a compound of a special formula of grit that is added in the final layer of laminate, making them a great safe solution to potential slip hazards.

Richco Glow-in-the-Dark Nosings are available in a profile size of 70mm x 30mm and 55mm x 55mm.
Standard lengts are 600mm, 800mm, 1200mm and 2400mm.
Installation Guide
Surface Preparation
Ensure the areas that are to have Richco Glow-in-the-Dark Nosings fitted are clean, dry and free from loose and friable material. Any dished or damaged surface areas should be patch repaired to provide a reasonably flat and consistent surface.
Dry fit all Glow-in-the-Dark Nosings and ensure that they fit freely and that they sit flat to the surface. If required Richco Glow-in-the-Dark Nosings can be trimmed onsite to suit using an industrial jigsaw and appropriate cutting blades.
Application
Drill the fixing locating holes in the Glow-in-the-Dark Nosings.
Whilst mechanial fixings are all that is required to secure Richco Glow-in-the-Dark Nosings, wherever possible, the application of an appropriate high strength gap filling adhesive will provide a secondary fixing in the event that the mechanical fixings should fail.
Apply a 6mm bead of high strength gap-filling adhesive around the periphery of the Glow-in-the-Dark Nosing and in horizontal stripes at approximately 200mm centres. Immediately press the Glow-in-the-Dark Nosing firmly to the substrate to ensure adequate transfer of adhesive. A firm bond will be achieved in about one hour under normal circumstances and conditions. Secure with the mechanical fixings and allow the adhesive sealant to cure before allowing excessive traffic to use the area.

No 8 x 30mm Zinc Plated or Stainless Steel Impact Anchors (Hilti HPS-1 or Similar)
Over Open Mesh
Stainless steel or zinc plated saddle clips and domed head bolts suitable in length for the depth of the existing treads.
