Installation Guide

Curing Time
Richco Epoxy Screed Primer can be over coated in 2-4 hours, depending on the degree of penetration into the substrate. Over coating can be made within this time or while still touch dry. If the primer is left for more than 48 hours before over coating, the primer will require abrasion to provide a key.

Surface Preparation
New concrete should be at least 21 - 28 days old or the moisture less than 5%. The substrate should be clean, free from laitance, oil, grease or other agents which may impair adhesion. Techniques should include one or more of the following, depending on how contaminated the substrate is:- acid etching - light mechanical scabbling - blasting - grinding or degreasing.

Mixing
Add the full contents of Component B to the contents of Component A and mix thoroughly.

Application
Apply by brush or roller and work well into the surface. Apply in one even coat.
