Richco Quartz Screed is a multi-colour mottled effect epoxy floor screed. The completed surface provides a decorative finish and is therefore ideal for use within commercial kitchen areas which are on-show and can incorporate patterns and logos as required.
Richco Quartz Screed exhibits the highest order of abrasion resistance and provides a hard wearing anti-slip surface. It is ideal for the use where a decorative and hard wearing surface is required.

Installation Guide
Curing Time
This product will normally cure in 4 - 5 hours at 15 °C to accept light foot traffic. Full chemical and wear resistance is achieved over 5 days (at a minimum constant temp of
15 °C). Water should not be allowed to lie on the surface for at least 7 days. Avoid washing the surface for 7 days after coating.
Surface Preparation
New concrete should be at least 21 - 28 days old or the moisture less than 5%. The substrate should be clean, free from laitance, oil, grease or other agents which may impair adhesion. Techniques should include one or more of the following, depending on how contaminated the substrate is:- acid etching - light mechanical scabbling - blasting - grinding or degreasing.
Priming
Floors must be thoroughly sealed with Richco Epoxy Primer prior to the application of Richco Quartz Screed.
Mixing
Richco Quartz Screed is a three-pack product. Mix the hardener component well into the resin for a period of 1 minute. Transfer the mixed resin into a rotary drum mixer and add the aggregate slowly until evenly wetted.
Application
Richco Quartz Screed should be applied directly onto uncured wet Richco Epoxy Primer. Spread the screed to an even thickness and the surface closed using a steel float.
