Area Coverage
Coverage area is approximately 2m² per 1L depending on the porosuty of the pavers, block size and join width.

Drying Time
Richco Block Paving Seal will dry in approximately 12 - 24 hours to accept light foot traffic, protect from rain and frost while drying. Application should only be when ground temperatures are between 10°C and 30°C.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces to be treated should be clean, dry, sound and free from dirt, dust and other contaminants. If the paving has been washed, it must be allowed to dry thoroughly before treatment with Richco Block Paving Seal.
Treat any areas of moss or fungal attack with a suitable alggecide/ fungicide.
Joints should be filled or topped up to the bottom of the chamfer with clean, dry compacted sand

Application
Apply in temperatures above 10°C and when rain is not expected for at least 24 hours. Take a working quantity from the tin and re-seal immediately to prevent moisture vapour contamination in the can.
Apply Richco Block Paving Seal by brush or roller, taking care not to apply it too thickly. Do not allow excess product to build up in the sand joints. Do not allow the product to pond on the surface.
One coat is usually sufficient. Two coats may be applied but will leave a glossier finish. If two coats are required apply the second within 4 to 48 hours of the first to ensure good intercoat adhesion.
